RACE SOCIALS

Saturdays following the last race group, a social is held to celebrate a safe and fun day of racing. It's a great place to gather and bench-race with fellow racers, meet your volunteer workers, race officials and board members. Stop by and pick up your final results, grab some liquid refreshment and mingle!

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

The Florida Region SCCA General Membership meets the 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm except as otherwise noted below, at a location to be determined by the Meetings Director. These are the scheduled meetings.

Lots of bench racing occurs at the general membership meetings. Share your latest tall tale and enjoy the food and good times. The Meetings Director always has a bag of great door prizes.

FLORIDA REGION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS

The Board of Directors of the Florida Region meets on the second Tuesday of each month (except as otherwise noted below) at 7:30 p.m. The meeting location for all Board meetings in 2010 will be Duffy's Boynton Beach East, southeast corner of Hypoluxo Road (I-95 exit 60) and North Congress Avenue.

The meetings are open to the membership. If you have an issue, concern or an item you would like to bring to the attention of the Board, e-mail or call one of the Directors. All members wishing to address the Board may do so at the Board meetings. We are interested in what you have to say; after all, we are a member-driven organization! Please let us know how we can improve your region!

The Region is governed by the By-laws which are revised by the membership from time to time. One-half of the Board positions are up for election each year, with a term of office of two years. Announcements of open positions will be made in the Torque and the Torque Express, and full details of the nomination and election process can be found in Article IV of the Bylaws.
